The unemployment amounted to 1.7% in Ukraine (without taking into account the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol) in November compared with 1.5% in October, 2014, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The State Employment Service of Ukraine registered 450,600 unemployed people in November 2014 (against 402,700 the previous month), including 343,300 people who receive unemployment benefits. 288,800 unemployed people were registered among urban population, 161,800 – among rural population.
At that, the average benefit for one unemployed person in November 2014 amounted to UAH 1,182 (US $70), which is UAH 17 (US $1.03) less than in October 2014.
