The agricultural holding HarvEast is negotiating with banks on restructuring loan debt, reported Latifundist.com with reference to the press service of the holding.
In particular, the company reminded about the negative consequences of the situation in the east of Ukraine, where the one-third of the HarvEast land bank is located.
“The products in the amount of several hundreds of million hryvnia, which cannot be taken out or sold, are located on this territory. In addition, the holding was not able to harvest over 5,000 ha of row crops due to the combat actions and destruction of crops. There were interruptions in the operation of Mariupol Sea Trading Port due to the ATO, that forced to sell a part of the products at a discount,” added HarvEast.
