As of December 22, the servicemen, participants of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine, who have not yet exercised their rights of free privatization of land, and also the families of killed law enforcers obtained ownership of 979 land plots with a total area of 436 ha for the construction, farming and gardening, reported the press service of the State Agency for Land Resources of Ukraine.
“Over the past week alone 116 land plots with a total area of 42.27 ha were allocated on ATO participants requests,” according to the agency.
At that, the State Agency for Land Resources noted that since the beginning of the implementation of the specified initiatives in June 2014, by December 22, 16,336 servicemen, participants of the ATO and members of the families of the killed law enforcers submitted applications for the allocation of the land plots, 8,325 (51% ). The applications were approved for the allocation of plots with a total area of 4,33102 ha.
