hot spotTurchynov – Only citizens of Ukraine can patrol the Ukrainian border
Patrolling the Ukrainian territory may be carried out exceptionally by citizens of Ukraine – servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or law enforcers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reported the press service of the National Security and Defense Council with reference to the statement of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov.
Commenting on information in some mass media about the alleged joint patrolling of the temporarily occupied territory by the law enforcers of Ukraine and Russia, he noted that this is not true.
The Ukrainian law enforcers have enough power to carry out patrolling in any part of our country, according to Turchynov.
