Ukraine partially resumed supplies of electricity to Crimea after the unexpected shutdown, announced First Deputy Premier of Crimea Mikhail Sheremet.

“We have held talks, the supplies of electricity were partially resumed, Crimea receives around 650 MW,” he told journalists.
The Ukrainian side has not informed about the reasons for power outage, he said.

“Maybe, there was an accident there, or some other reasons,” said Sheremet.

He also said that the emergency power sources (mobile diesel and gas turbine power plants) are still operating.
