A dull powerful explosion was reported in the center of Kharkiv, Ukraine, at 00:08 a.m. (1:08 a.m.) on Thursday, an Interfax correspondent said.
The blast occurred near the Azhur store, located at 5 Rymarska Street, a Kharkiv region police spokesman told Interfax. Tenants of a nearby apartment building alerted police about the explosion.
Investigators examined the scene.
No one was killed or injured in the blast.
