The Cabinet of Ministers at its meeting on Wednesday will approve a decision to allocate UAH 10 from the state budget’s reserve fund for the reconstruction of the neighborhood of Mariupol shelled by militants on January 24 and to provide financial assistance to those who were injured and the families of those killed in the incident, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
«Today, the Cabinet of Ministers will approve a decision to allocate UAH 10 million out of the reserve fund directly to the city of Mariupol, which should be spent partly on the priority restoration work and partly to provide financial assistance to the injured and families of those killed,» Yatseniuk said, opening a government meeting on Wednesday.
As reported, 30 civilians were killed and 95 were injured as a result of the shelling of Mariupol’s residential area on January 24. A total of 79 facilities, including 59 residential buildings were damaged.
