Gaz Ukrainy company, a subsidiary of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy, has filed a claim to the business court of Cherkasy region asking to declare public joint-stock company Azot (Cherkasy), part of Dmytro Firtash’s Ostchem, bankrupt.
According to the state ruling register, on January 27 the court permitted to accept the claim and the first hearing is scheduled for January 30.
Gaz Ukrainy explains its demand by the fact that Cherkasy Azot is unable to pay UAH 181.113 million to the company during three months from the moment of court rulings take effect.
Cherkasy Azot produces nitric mineral fertilizers.
