The shareholders of Bank Finance and Credit (Kyiv), as part of the bank's program for an additional capitalization of UAH 2.5 billion, plan to hold a meeting and decide on the additional issue of shares worth UAH 700 million in March, the bank’s press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Now the shareholders are making the decision on holding a shareholders' meeting. It will be held in mid-March 2015, the plan for the additional issue of shares worth UAH 700 million will be approved at the meeting," bank board chairman Volodymyr Khlyvniuk said.
The press service noted that the bank's extra capitalization plan, which was submitted to the National Bank in 2014, foresees the injection of UAH 2.5 billion into the bank's charter capital, increasing it to UAH 4.8 billion.
"Some of these funds, namely UAH 600 million, have been transferred to the bank accounts in accordance with the shareholders' decision of October 31, 2014 on increasing the bank's charter capital by UAH 700 million. UAH 100 million will be transferred by the end of February," the bank said.
The press service noted that the inflow of the remaining funds under the extra capitalization program is planned for the end of the first half of this year.
