IncidentsFour wounded during a shootout at Maidan
Four people were wounded as the result of a shootout at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv at night on July 7, the capital’s police reported.
During the shootout the traumatic weapons were used; some of the Maidan Self-Defence were wounded. The injured did not report to the police.
«We haven’t received any statements from the injured people,» said Shevchenko District Police Department of Kyiv.
A conflict developed between the Maidan activists. Later, the medical workers reported about a person with a gunshot wound, who was delivered to the hospital, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The police unit that arrived at the hospital established that the injury was sustained by the traumatic weapon. Later three similar reports came.
The police investigate the circumstances of the incident.
