Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaliy Yarema is planning to appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Security Service of Ukraine with a request to take steps to release buildings in Kyiv that were seized by Maidan activists.
“I am appealing to the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Chief of SSU with a request to take urgent steps for restoring the public order in the central part of our capital. I demand that the seized buildings to be released immediately, because there is foul play in these actions, for which there can be criminal accountability under the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” he said at the conference.
The prosecutor general emphasized that in a case the demands of the PGO are not fulfilled, the guilty will be brought to accountability. He also warned the law enforcement officers and Kyiv City State Administration employees about responsibility for inactivity.
