Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaliy Yarema dismissed his deputy and 131 employees of the Prosecutor’s General Office within the framework of the implementation of the law On Cleansing of Power, the Prosecutor’s office reported on its website.
“As of October 23, 2014, 132 prosecutors were dismissed from the Prosecutor’s office by order of the Prosecutor General, according to the Law of Ukraine On Cleansing of Power, Clause 1 of final and transitional provisions of the Law On Cleansing of Power, following Clauses 7-2 of the Article 36 of the Labor Code of Ukraine,” reads the message on the website.
It was specified that one Deputy Prosecutor General, seven prosecutors of the oblasts and 30 their deputies, 2 heads of the main administrations and nine their deputies were dismissed.
As Capital reported, the Cabinet cleanses the officials who support Maidan.
