Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine agreed to a compromise with alcohol importers, who were threatened with temporary ban on alcohol supplies as a result of violations in the process of transfer of excise labels to the producers discovered by the Security Service of Ukraine.
The order on temporary suspension of foreign economic activity, which had to come into force on July 16, was suspended for three months.
As a reminder, supplies of the companies, which account for more than a half of all alcohol imports of Ukraine – Vinfort, Arda-Trading, Akvavit, Bayadera-import and Wine Bureau, operator of the Good Wine chain of stores, were under the threat. Fruitline Plus Company, which is engaged in trade of fruit and vegetables, is also under the threat.
