Hot spotRoad reconstruction in Donbas will cost UAH 1.8 bn (US $150 mn)
State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine Ukravtodor estimates the reconstruction work in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts at UAH 1.83 bn (US $155 mn), spokesman of Ukravtodor Serhiy Pidhainiy said at a briefing.
“As of today, the damages in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts amount to UAH 1.83 bn (US $155 mn),” he said.
In particular, 10 bridges in the Donetsk oblast and 8 in the Luhansk oblast were destroyed. More than 896 km of roads were damaged to a different extent.
Pidhainiy noted that the full reconstruction is possible only after the end of the ATO and the more accurate calculations of expenditures.
As a reminder, earlier Ukravtodor announced about the road damages in the Donetsk oblast amounted to UAH 500 mn (US $43 mn).
