The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine estimates the GDP drop by 3% as a result of the first half year and forecasts that it may reach 6% in 2014, informed first deputy minister of the economic development and trade Anatoliy Maksyuta at a briefing.
The inflation can increase to 19% the current year, according to his information.
“This is a background, on which the changes of the budgetary policy are taking place,” he specified.
As a reminder, due to the worsening of the economic situation, the government has stated the necessity to compensate the funds in the budget in amount of UAH 31 bn (US $2.6 bn).
