Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) has suspended import of alcoholic beverages and beer from Ukraine to the territory of Russia starting from August 15, informed Rospotrebnadzor’s press service.
Rospotrebnadzor claims that inspection of vodka, beer and beer beverages manufactured in Ukraine showed lack of correspondence to the requirements for labeling of the products.
In particular, Obolon beer did not correspond to the requirements for energy value and organoleptic indicators, beer beverages of San Inbev Ukraine failed to meet the labeling requirements, while alcoholic beverages of Ukrainian Distribution Company did not correspond to the requirements of the volume ratio of spirit and organoleptic indicators, according to Rospotrebnadzor.
