Export of goods exceeded import by US $880.4 mn over seven months (January-July), reported the State Statistics Service.
In particular, export of goods in January-July amounted to US $33.428 mn, having decreased by 5.3% compared with January-July 2013. Furthermore, import of goods during this period declined by 20.5% to US $32.548 mn.
In January-July the balance of trade improved by US $6.519 mn compared with January-July 2013, when it amounted to US $5.639 mn, according to the service.
As Capital reported, in January-June the positive trade balance amounted to US $568.4 mn.
