TradeUkraine banned import of poultry from UK, Netherlands and Germany
Ukraine has banned import of poultry from UK, Netherlands and Germany due to bird flu, reported the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine on its website.
«According to the official information of the World Organisation for Animal Health, cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza with high mortality and risks of people’s infection are registered on the territory of UK, Netherlands and Germany. All cases were registered at the large poultry farms. The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine banned import of poultry and poultry products from the specified countries due to the dangerous situation,» said the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service.
As a reminder, the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine suspended import of goods from several regions of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
