Ukraine does not intend to restructure its debt obligations, said Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak at Lviv Financial Forum 2014.
“We are not speaking about restructuring of all debt obligations… The country will cope with its obligations,” he said.
There are around UAH 9 bn (US $630 mn) and US $2 bn on the treasury accounts of the country, informed the minister.
As Capital reported, as of July 31, the external debt decreased by 0.8% or US $250 mn and now amounts to US $30.909 bn (US $31.158 bn, as of June 30).
