The Cabinet has studied the practice of implementation of municipal programs of transition to alternative energy sources, announced Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak as reported by the government’s press service.
“The government has allocated UAH 500 mn (US $37.59 mn) from the budget for these purposes, providing UAH 50 mn (US $3.76 mn) for the loan servicing and UAH 200 mn of additional funds for replacement of gas boilers,” announced Semerak.
In addition, the Cabinet has proposed an attractive tariff policy for those consumers who are ready to use electricity or alternative energy sources instead of gas.
