Ukraine will not announce default as it has all resources for fulfilling its obligations, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

“The previous government carried out several transactions with Russia which were more political. Russians are not idiots. They put many “hooks” to which we are clinging now. But I want to make it clear – we do everything possible to stabilize the financial situation in the country,” noted Yatsenyuk.

In addition, the premier emphasized that the Ukrainian government will review certain program aspects of the cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.

“The IMF Stand-By Arrangement was written as the peace program. Now the situation is rather different and probably we will review several program aspects. But we are convinced that Ukraine will not announce default,” specified Yatsenyuk.

As Capital reported, at the General Assembly Yatsenyuk has appealed to UN not to cancel sanctions against Russia.

Для того, чтобы такое объявлять нужно что-то ДЕЛАТЬ. А так только рассуждения и пиар! Разве это поможет нашей стране. Нам может помочь антикризисная программа коммунистов так у власти хватает ума пытаться запрещать их!
