BG Bank (earlier Bank Pershiy), which was a part of the group of small financial institutions, is experiencing temporary difficulties and cannot fulfill its obligations to all clients on time, as reported on the bank’s website.
BG Bank, like the majority of the companies and financial institutions of Ukraine, has suffered big losses due to the temporary occupation of Crimea and difficult situation in the east of the country, said the bank.
“The majority of clients from these regions could not meet their obligations for provided loans, which has led to the temporary difficulties in the bank and impossibility to fulfill its obligations on time.
As a reminder, BG Bank has imposed restrictions on cash withdrawals using payment cards at the level of UAH 100 (US $7.72) per 24 hours.
