Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said no changes would be made in Ukraine’s Association Agreement with the European Union.
«The text of the Agreement remains what it was when I signed it on June 27,» he said in an interview with 1+1 channel, broadcast on Sunday.
It was a victory, scored by Ukrainian diplomacy, he said. A solution was forged to defend the interests of the Ukrainian market. The EU extended preferences for Ukrainian goods, he said.
Poroshenko also said that the implementation of the Agreement will not be delayed. «No departures, or postponements are possible.» The ratified Agreement will take effect on November 1, 2014, he said.
