wagesMinistry of Finance estimated shadow wages of Ukrainians at UAH 180 bn
The shadow payroll of Ukrainians amounts to UAH 150-180 bn (US $12-14 bn), said Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak on Radio Svoboda.
At that, after the reform of the single social security tax the losses of the Pension Fund and other funds can reach UAH 28 bn (US $2.16 bn), according to the minister.
Shlapak noted that the Cabinet of Ministers expects to find the corresponding compensators, namely the ways of withdrawal wages from the shadow.
As Capital reported, in September the State Fiscal Service estimated shadow wages of Ukrainians at UAH 20 bn (US $1.54 bn) per month.
