Lipetsk confectionery factory of Roshen Confectionery Corporation owned by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has partially renewed its operation, said the representative of the factory.
As a reminder, the production at Lipetsk factory was suspended on September 15. The technical maintenance of lines was planned for this period. Around 1,500 workers were offered to take vacations during this period or receive two-thirds of their salaries. It was expected that the factory would resume its operation from September 29, but launching was postponed for another week.
Poroshenko specified that he intends to sell his main asset Roshen. The investment consultants were already chosen – Rothschild Investment Corporation and Investment Capital Ukraine (ICU) will be engaged in the sale of the confectionery corporation.
As Capital reported, Roshen buyers will be offered the sweetest assets.
