As of October 6, 2014 the expenditures for payment of the national debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 71.58 bn (US $5.51 bn) of UAH 94.43 bn (US $7.27 bn), provided by monthly financing from the general fund of Ukraine’s national budget during January-October 2014, reported the State Treasury Service of Ukraine.
Furthermore, under the monthly budget allocations, UAH 86.17 bn (US $6.63 bn) was to be provided for repayment of the national debt during January-September 2014. Thus, Ukraine is already behind schedule by UAH 14.59 bn (US $1.12 bn) or 17%.
At that, UAH 45.71 bn (US $3.52 bn) of the internal national debt and UAH 25.87 bn (US $1.99 bn) of the external national debt were paid.
In addition, the expenditures of servicing of the national debt during January-October amounted to UAH 36.42 bn (US $2.80 bn). As of October 6, 2014 the expenditures of servicing of the national debt amounted to UAH 31.61 bn or US $2.43 bn (UAH 21.57 bn of the internal national debt and UAH 10.04 bn of the external national debt).
