As of October 6 the outflow of deposits from the banks of Ukraine this year amounted to UAH 110 bn (US $ 8.47 bn), announced NBU Governor Valeriya Hontareva at the roundtable in Kyiv.
“To date, the outflow of deposits amounted to UAH 110 bn, including US $7 bn and around UAH 50 bn (US $3.85 bn). In June and July the situation was more stable, but in the end of August the outflow increased,” she said.
As a reminder, as of September 22, 2014 the NBU said that starting from January 21 the outflow of deposits from the banks of Ukraine amounted to UAH 104 bn (US $8.01 bn).
As Capital reported, Ukraine attracted US 1.3 bn and lost US $8 bn of foreign investments, according to the State Agency for Investment and National projects of Ukraine.
