Power supplyRussia proposed energy supplies to Ukraine for the compensation of the power supply to Crimea
Russia proposed to supply energy to Ukraine if Ukraine cancels restrictions on power supply to Crimea. That is one of the conditions of supplies, said Minister of Fuel and Energy of Crimea Sergey Yegorov.
“There is the proposal. This is a part of complex negotiations on gas issue and other issues of the energy sector,” said Yegorov.
The proposal was made during the talks between Ministers of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Prodan and his Russian colleague Aleksander Novak, according to the minister.
“We are expecting that the reaction (of the Ukrainian side – ed.) will come soon,” said Yegorov without announcing the details of the proposal.
