On the base of the National Guard in Novi Petrivtsi near Kyiv 350 conscripts rebelled and went by foot to the capital to the Presidential Administration, said the source of the National Guard’s leadership.
They advanced to the Presidential Administration chanting slogans against Petro Poroshenko.
Before that, during four days the National Guard's law enforcers demanded to pay them the military salaries, which they did not receive for a long time, specified the source.
In addition, the soldiers of the National Guard demanded that they were given winter uniforms and military outfits and treated them like human beings not like cattle.
The servicemen intend to seek from Poroshenko the dismissal of the military commanders who allowed this situation.
As a reminder, Poroshenko proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to appoint Commander of the National Guard Stepan Poltorak as the new Minister of Defence instead Heletey who resigned.
