tradeRosselkhoznadzor threatens to ban import of fruits and vegetables from Ukraine
Rosselkhoznadzor does not exclude the prohibition of import of fruit and vegetables from Ukraine in the case of failure to provide information about the origin of goods by the Ukrainian side, reported the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.
“If Ukraine refuses to meet these requirements or provide the information about every batch of goods, Rosselkhoznadzor will have the right to introduce such additional protective measures as imposing temporary restrictions on import of plant products from Ukraine and through its territory,” said the press service.
As Capital reported, earlier Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert announced readiness of Rosselkhoznadzor to ban import of goods using re-export certificates of Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia to Russia.
