SanctionsUkraine penalized Russian air companies at UAH 262 mn
As of November 19, 2014 the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine imposed fines against Russian air companies in the total amount of UAH 261.528 mn (US $16.33 mn) for violation of the rules and procedure of using airspace of Ukraine, reported the press service of the administration.
According to the information, overall 1,923 decrees on fines were issued against the following companies: Aeroflot, Globus, Shar Ink, Flight Unit 224 State Airlines, Rossiya Special Flight Detachment, Ak Bars Aero, RusJet, Red Wings Airlines, VIM-Avia, Gazpromavia, ATRAN, Center-South, Jet Air Group, Ural Airlines, Rossiya Airlines, Donavia, Yamal Airlines, Sirius-Aero.
As a reminder, as of July 31, 2014 the amount of fines totaled UAH 90 mn (US $5.62).
