DevelopmentCorporation owned by President of Ukraine to build one more factory in his hometown
One of the largest confectionery manufacturers in Ukraine Roshen Confectionery Corporation (Kyiv) plans to build the third confectionery factory in Vinnytsia, announced Director of Department of Economy and Investments of Vinnytsia City Council Halyna Yakubovych.
The investments will amount to UAH 300 mn (US $18.99 mn) and the company will be put into operation by 2017, she said.
Yakubovych noted that the construction of the new factory will create around 600 jobs.
As Capital reported, in May the shareholders decided to close the Roshen confectionary factory in Mariupol.
