Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine considers the possibility of coal supplies from Vietnam and Australia, announced First Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuriy Zyukov.
“We can consider Vietnam and Australia… The price of coal and terms of supply are the subject matter. It can be Vietnam and Australia because they can supply coal of T type,” he said.
At that, the first deputy head noted that Ukraine did not plan to supply coal from the USA. “When we addressed the issue in the summer months, the USA proposed to us to purchase coal, but the price was around US $130 without taking into account transportation, logistics. And this is a very high price,” specified Zyukov.
