DTEK Krymenergo engaged in distribution of electricity on the territory of the Republic of Crimea began power outages of the consumers due to the shortage of power energy caused by the reduction of supplies from Ukraine, reported the press service of the company.
The electricity is being supplied to Crimea from the territory of Ukraine througha high-voltage line with a capacity of 330 kV, which only operates among four other lines, according to DTEK Krymenergo.
Ukrenergo decided to disable three lines with a total capacity of 880 kV. One of the electric power transmission lines was disabled on November 17 due to repairs. Ukrenergo disabled two more high-voltage lines on Wednesday.
