Abromavicius promises by year end to submit 16 bills to Rada to raise $500 mln from World Bank

Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade by the end of 2014 will submit to the parliament 16 bills, the adoption of which will enable the country to raise $500 million of financial aid from the World Bank.

"We plan to launch the reform of state-owned enterprises management by the end of the year. We will submit 16 laws to the Verkhovna Rada that will allow to obtain $500 million of budget support from the World Bank," the newly appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Aivaras Abromavicius said at a briefing in Kyiv.

According to him, the entire investment aid for Ukraine is delayed due to the parliament's failure to adopt the mentioned 16 bills.

"..Министерство направит в парламент 16 законопроектов, с принятием которых...". Не торопился бы с такими заявлениями, или он думает, что в Раде теперь за все "пакетом" голосовать будут, как за него в составе правительства
