Ukraine is still in talks on the possibility of import of energy from Russia, however, Russian party stipulates the supplies to provide Crimea with power, stated Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn at a briefing in Kyiv.
Demchyshyn says it would be improper to raise this issue as transit of Russian electricity to the peninsula.
The minister reminded that currently Ukraine sells Crimea 400 MW, but was forced to limit supplies against the background of shortage of capacities, as well as to consumers all over the country.
As Capital reported, Ukraine is no longer able to supply electricity to Crimea.
