CrisisGas and energy supplies to Donbas cost US $200 mn per month
The provision of gas and electricity to Donbas costs US $200 mn per month, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said in an interview for the German Der Spiegel.
In addition, he explained that the government’s decision on the cancellation of social benefits on the territories, uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities, is connected with the inability to guarantee delivery of the funds to the recipient.
As Capital reported, at the end of November Petro Poroshenko said that gas and energy supplies to the Donbas already cost Ukraine US $700 mn.
