President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that every Ukrainian who have been taken prisoner in the country's east must be set free within 5 days after heavy vehicles been withdrawn.
"Moreover, yesterday we agreed to release prisoners and captives. Hundreds of Ukrainians, who are kept in inhuman conditions, must be set free within five days after the heavy vehicles withdrawn," he said, while delivering a speech at the National Guard training center in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, Kyiv region.
The president said that the talks in Minsk also had also covered the issue of Nadia Savchenko’s release.
"We strictly demand that Russia finally bring Nadia back home, and we'll not stop pressurizing [Russia]," he stressed.
