Interdepartmental Commission for International Trade has decided to introduce import duty on malt beer, tires and refrigerators from Belarus at 60.05% of the customs value and also import of confectionery, dairy products, electric lamps and fertilizers in the amount of 55.29% of the customs value until December 31, 2016.
As the commission reported, the decision to impose a special duty on the specified goods from Belarus was approved based on the results of the report of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, which looked into discriminatory and unfriendly actions of Belarus against legal rights and interest of Ukrainian companies – exporters of beer.
The decision of the commission takes force 10 days upon its publication (published on July 16).
